The story unfolds on a cloudy, rainy day. A young man with a bouquet of red roses sits on the parapet of a busy road, with cars and a public trolleybus driving by. The boy looks tense: while waiting, he is huddled against the cold and rain, but carefully holds the flowers.
Apparently, the meeting was arranged at this place, but the wait dragged on.
