Book about Euphrosyne of Polotsk for blind children published in Minsk
The presentation of a book about the famous Belarusian enlightener for blind and visually impaired children, published by the Publishing Council of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, took place at special school No. 188 in Minsk, Belta writes .

The publication is designed to meet various needs: the text is printed in Braille, there is an audio version, and a tactile image of an icon is included, which can be "examined" by touch. A special description is added to it so that children can better imagine the image.
The book was created as a comprehensive educational project. For those who do not read Braille, an audio version is provided – it can be listened to via QR codes. Professional artists and a priest participated in the voice acting.

The authors emphasize that the choice of the figure is not accidental: Euphrosyne of Polotsk is considered not only a spiritual patroness of Belarus but also an important enlightener who developed education and culture. Therefore, her image should become an example for children.
In the near future, the book will be distributed to all specialized institutions in the country where children with visual impairments study.
At the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya was greeted not only with a warm welcome, but also with an unexpectedly beautiful table
