The myth of "Oreshnik's" "super-penetration" debunked: what the craters in Bila Tserkva showed
Russian propaganda claimed that "Oreshnik" has enormous destructive power and is capable of hitting deeply buried objects. However, research shows a completely different picture. This is reported by "RBC-Ukraine" with a reference to Defense Express.

Specialists are already actively investigating the impact site of the blocks of the "Oreshnik" medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM), which the occupiers used to attack Bila Tserkva on the night of May 24. The results of the inspection debunked another Kremlin myth about this weapon.
Russian propaganda has long claimed that "Oreshnik" carries special tungsten kinetic elements with ultra-high penetration for destroying deep underground shelters, supposedly leaving almost no traces on the surface. However, journalists discovered the real dimensions of the craters in ordinary soil:
- diameter — approximately up to 3 meters;
- depth — up to 2 meters.
Due to the colossal impact energy, the blocks themselves experienced extremely little fragmentation and partially vaporized. This makes it impossible to accurately assess whether there were tungsten "rods" or conventional mass-dimensional mock-ups inside.
Ultimately, the nature of the destruction of garages and the parameters of the craters fully coincide with what was previously recorded in Dnipro and Lviv — there is no "new" warhead there.
According to preliminary estimates, the impact energy of the blocks at the moment of collision ranged from 220 to 400 MJ. Conventionally, such kinetic energy can be compared to a chemical explosion of 52-95 kg in TNT equivalent.
At the same time, the nature of energy release is fundamentally different: during a kinetic impact, there are almost no primary and secondary fragments that are formed during a high-explosive detonation.
In general, an "Oreshnik" strike, which contains 36 such blocks, is conditionally equivalent in its destructive power to an attack by 36 "Shahed"-type kamikaze drones with an enhanced warhead.
Earlier, on the night of May 24, Russians carried out a massive combined attack on Ukraine with drones, as well as air-, sea-, and ground-launched missiles. The main direction of the Russian strike was Kyiv.
During this attack, the RS-26 "Rubizh" medium-range ballistic missile, known as "Oreshnik", was used. The launch was carried out from the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region, and hits were recorded in the Bila Tserkva area in the Kyiv region.

Не знаю, які там власні джерела у видання Defense Express, але вони точно далекі від істини.
Фахівці звідкись порахували, що еквівалент прильоту однієї болванки Орєшніка - це БЧ Шахеда, тобто 52-95кг тротилового еквіваленту. Відповідно, заявляють вони, що кінетична версія Орєшніка еквівалентна 36 Шахедам))
Насправді, це не так. Я поки єдиний, хто показав вирву від болванки. Решта знайдених - влучили в гаражі кооперативу. І тільки я показував на відео, яка та вирва.
Тепер, подивіться на фото. В мене 183см (це про зріст) і 100++ кг (це про масу). Дефенси з'являють про 3 метри діаметр та 2 метри глибини. Але ви ж самі бачите, що це все менше. Приблизно 2 метри діаметр та 60см глибина. Немає ніякої мови про навіть 50кг еквіваленту!
Снаряд 152мм калібру важить більше 40кг, але й вибухової речовини там до 10кг. І і сотні разів був під обстрілом такого калібру. Знаю їхні воронки, на якому грунті. Ось тут я експерт, і знаю про що я говорю.
І руйнування від Шахедів знаю. В нього потужніша БЧ від 152мм снаряду. Ця вирва - точно простіша і менша.
Я розумію, що недооцінювати ворога не потрібно. Але й прибавляти їм, та нагнітати страху для українців - також не треба. Орєшнік в такому кінетичному виконанні - не 36 Шахедів. А 36 - 152мм снарядів. Навіть до 155мм калібру не дотягує).
