Scammers ordered a Minsk resident to come with all documents to the central entrance of the KGB
A 32-year-old woman was called in a messenger app by a fake "Belposhta" (Belarusian Post) employee who informed her about a registered letter from the tax office. To receive it, the Minsk resident had to provide a code from an SMS message — the usual scam scheme began, reports "Minsk Police".

After this, there were interferences on the line, and a fake security service employee joined the conversation. In reality, such an instant transfer of phone calls between different organizations is impossible in Belarus, but the woman did not know this and didn't realize it.
He said that scammers had taken out loans in the Minsk resident's name, and now she had to take out "mirror" loans to cancel them.
The woman immediately went to five banks and received about 55 thousand rubles in cash. She took all the money to Loshitsa Park and handed it over to an unknown woman, whom she believed to be a courier for the National Bank.
Then the handler contacted the Minsk resident again and arranged a meeting for her near the central entrance to the KGB building. After which he deleted the correspondence.
Afterwards she realized that she had become a victim of fraud and contacted the police.
