The Somon Air aircraft landed under a water arch – a traditional symbol of opening a new route, BelTA writes.

Passengers and crew were greeted at the gangway with a traditional Belarusian karavai (round loaf of bread).
“This is a fast and comfortable way for passengers to reach their destination without long transfers. We are confident that the airline will not limit itself to one flight per week, and we are ready to serve the growing passenger traffic on the Dushanbe-Minsk route with quality that meets international standards,” said Vladimir Cherevukhin, Director General of Minsk National Airport.
Flights will be operated once a week – on Saturdays.

Самолёт никогда не "приземляется под водяной аркой". К полосе запрещено приближаться во время посадки и взлёта. Арку создают на рулении, когда уже приземлившийся самолёт идёт к аэровокзалу.
