France to provide Ukraine with additional interceptor missiles

France will strengthen its military support for Ukraine and provide it with additional interceptor missiles to defend against Russian air attacks. This was announced on August 22 by French President Emmanuel Macron on the social network X after a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Macron reported that during the conversation, he expressed his condolences and outrage to Zelenskyy regarding the Russian attack on the "Sunny Gallery" shopping center in Kryvyi Rih. As a result of this strike, 16 people died, and nine more, including two children, are considered missing. 130 people were wounded, among them 25 children.

The French president stated that Russia continues to intensify aggression and systematically attacks the civilian population. In his opinion, Ukraine must be provided with all necessary means to defend its airspace.

Macron also reported on the continuation of cooperation within the framework of the so-called "anti-ballistic coalition." An agreement on its creation was reached on July 13 at a meeting in Paris. The coalition includes Germany, Ukraine, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

A separate topic remains French military equipment for Ukraine. Earlier, France and Ukraine signed a declaration of intent, which provides for Kyiv's future purchase of French Rafale fighter jets and modern air defense systems.

Macron called on other countries with relevant capabilities to join in supporting Ukraine. According to him, pressure on Russia must continue until Moscow agrees to cease hostilities and opts for peace.

The presidents of France and Ukraine also discussed the meeting of the "coalition of the willing," scheduled for August 24. Macron stated that the joint actions of states supporting Ukraine should help it resist Russian aggression.

Napalm , скорее наоборот - к войне привело нежелание учитывать интересы России, а также глупость руководства Украины и России.
А если уж вспомнили пакт Молотова-Рибентропа, то почитайте почему это стало возможно. Именно действия европейских стран подтолкнули СССР к подписанию пакта. В итоге пакт был циничным, но логичным шагом геополитики того времени. Каждая страна спасала себя за счет соседей, а кое кто "под шумок" решил у соседа земли отжать.
Тоже самое и сейчас происходит.
