Poet Nasta Kudasava and the "Kamunikat" publishing house will visit Prague, Bratislava, Zurich, Vienna, and Berlin with presentations of her new book "Lyrica."
This collection is the author's seventh book of poetry and the third published in emigration. It is "Lyrica" that will be one of the main highlights of the September meetings with readers, writes bellit.info.
During the discussion, the conversation will cover:
— the book "Lyrica" and the principles of selecting poems for it;
— poetry written between homeland and emigration;
— the pain of loss, hope, and the word's ability to restore inner balance;
— why Nasta Kudasava's poems are especially important to hear in the author's own performance;
— the place of the Belarusian language and literature in modern Europe.
This will be not only a book presentation but also a heartfelt conversation about poetry as a way to preserve memory, overcome distance, and remain true to oneself.
