The utility company "Aqua-Minsk" has been included in the list of organizations in Belarus allowed to produce so-called "original alcoholic beverages" — including moonshine, the publication "Belorusy i rynok" noted .
"Aqua-Minsk" is known as the operator of the water parks "Lebyazhy" and "Mandarin", the sports and recreation complex "Serebryanka", a chain of hotels, a medical center, and a tennis complex. The enterprise also manages the park-hotel "Na tym beraze" and the historical and cultural complex "Loshitsky".
As follows from the resolution of the Council of Ministers, the license for moonshine production will be valid specifically in the division associated with "Loshitsky".
Currently, the updated state list includes 28 moonshine producers. Among them are forestries, nature reserves, farmsteads, and large tourist complexes, including "Chyrvony Bor", "Dudutki", "Stankava", "Karobchytsy" and "Nanosy".
Previously, there were 30 enterprises on the list, but two of them went bankrupt. Among them are "Gastsinny Mayonak", which operated on the territory of the "Lagoysk" ski complex, as well as the enterprise at the hotel-estate "Vishnevy Sad" in the Mogilev region.
