In Byarastavitsa, students were housed in a dormitory unfit for living
College students, including minors, lived for almost a month in a dormitory where renovations were ongoing. The prosecutor's office called the conditions dangerous and demanded that the violations be eliminated, but how and when this will be done, and where the children will live until then, is not reported.
As reported by the Prosecutor General's Office, students were accommodated in rooms on the fifth floor of the dormitory where renovation work was being carried out directly during their stay.
The premises had significantly damaged walls and floors, as well as plumbing equipment.
According to the prosecutor's office, the rooms were actually unfit for living.
Under these conditions, 38 college students, including minors, had been living since September 7. The prosecutor's office stated that the actions of the educational institution's management created "a direct threat to their life and health."
The prosecutor's office demanded immediate elimination of the violations, provision of safe conditions for the children, and holding the responsible officials accountable. However, it is not specified whether the students have been relocated, when the renovation will be completed, and how they will be provided with normal housing.
