Then, according to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the drugs are supplied to Russia.

Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov, at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of CIS countries, spoke about the use of weather balloons, specifically stating that drug dealers are using them to transfer drugs from Poland to Belarus for transit to Russia, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"This year, we encountered a new method of illegal movement of large consignments across the western borders of our country — using aerial weather balloons equipped with geolocation and mobile communication systems. Repeated instances of their transportation from Poland with the aim of further transit to the Russian Federation have been detected," Kubrakov said.
According to him, over 142 kg of narcotic substances, which entered Belarus with the help of weather balloons, were confiscated in the Grodno region.
