Gas pipeline damaged on Karastayanava Street in Minsk

A gas pipeline was damaged on Lili Karastayanava Street in Minsk on October 5. Specialists promptly began restoration work at the scene, reports the "Minsk-News" agency.

Damage to a 400 mm diameter medium-pressure steel gas pipeline was recorded at 4:40 PM near house No. 41 on Lili Karastayanava Street. The incident occurred during excavation work carried out by a third-party organization in the gas pipeline's protection zone.

No one was injured as a result of the incident. There was no need to disconnect consumers from the gas supply.

Seven brigades were involved in eliminating the damage: four brigades from the emergency restoration service and three brigades from the gas distribution system facilities operation service. The situation is under constant control of specialists.
