In Germany, a completely drunk young Belarusian unlicensed driver hit a motorcyclist and fled
2.5 per mille alcohol — that's serious.
On Sunday, October 4, around 5:40 PM, on road L1162 between Bartholomä and Heubach in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg (Germany), an accident occurred in which a motorcyclist was seriously injured. The German police report this.
According to the police, a 25-year-old Belarusian in a BMW was driving towards Heubach and wanted to overtake a 21-year-old motorcyclist, but crashed into him. The motorcyclist on a Triumph went off the road, fell, and sustained serious injuries.
The Belarusian did not stop and fled the scene of the accident.
The police found him thanks to a witness's report: the man was detained not far from his home. A test showed he had about 2.5 per mille alcohol in his system. It also turned out that he did not have a driver's license.
An ambulance took the seriously injured motorcyclist to the hospital. The police estimate the damage from the accident at approximately 15 thousand euros.
