Stalinist "Yabatska" from Gomel detained after inviting Lukashenka to the forceful closure of his third cafe

Due to conflict with the authorities, Vital had already lost two of his businesses — the "Pinta" eatery near the market in Gomel (which, by the way, the entrepreneur defiled with a huge banner featuring a photograph of Stalin) and a summer cafe on the Central Beach. They did everything elegantly — simply refused to extend the lease agreement.

Vital complained to friends that much expensive equipment was stolen during the demolition of his cafe, which he could not get back.

Now it was the turn of his third, more ambitious project. This is about the "Lyavada" cafe. On Instagram, it is positioned as a tent that can accommodate up to 150 people. Weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and graduations are held there. "Lyavada" is located in the Graduates of the Third Millennium Park.

History repeats itself exactly. The authorities refused to extend the lease and demand everything be removed. Drobushevsky is horrified by such news: he calls this project his child.

He says he dedicated almost half his life to it — at 17, he bought a beer kiosk, which he turned into a decent place.

About a week ago, Vital decided to appeal to Lukashenka again to save his business. He did this last year when "Pinta" was destroyed — but with zero results.

In the new video, Drobushevsky urges Lukashenka to visit "Lyavada" by October 26 (the last day the cafe is open) to "personally verify the lawlessness that is happening in Gomel on the part of law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and local authorities." According to Vital, he received a refusal to extend the lease agreement based on alleged misuse or confiscation for state needs.

"Dear Alexander Grigoryevich! Words cannot convey what it's like when a child you cannot protect is torn apart before your eyes. A child you nurtured all this time, investing your soul and strength," says Drobushevsky, adding that he is very worried and finds it difficult to record the appeal.

He claims that this place is of no use to anyone but him, as there are weeds everywhere around — no one wants to do anything there.

"Dear Alexander Grigoryevich, I beg you very much, please come. You will see for yourself that there are not just excesses, but actual sabotage. You demand from your subordinates that the economy be a priority, but their ambitions are the priority. It's simply incomprehensible. Either they do this deliberately to anger people, because I'm not the only one. People come to me, people see how I fight injustice."

A few days after the video's publication on Threads, Vital tagged the official accounts of the prosecutor's office and the police. He asked them to contact him urgently to "avoid a disaster." Soon after, he added that he had been contacted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs headquarters — and then he himself disappeared.

As "Nashaya Niva" learned, Drobushevsky was again detained for "distributing extremist materials" (Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The Stalinist "yabatska" will be behind bars until approximately mid-October.

Let us remind you, Vital Drobushevsky, an entrepreneur from Gomel, always publicly supported Lukashenka. He calls the politician "Batya" (Dad), publishes his quotes, and doesn't hesitate to travel to Minsk for hockey matches.

The man enthusiastically participates in any events under the red-green flag — at one of them he even shook hands with Alexander Lukashenka, and at another, he took a photo with Kolya.

More than Lukashenka, Vital loves perhaps only Stalin — in September, he began collecting brass in Gomel to send the material to the Russian city of Bor, where they want to erect a monument to the tyrant.

In his free time, the Stalinist hunts for "runaways" on social media and writes offensive comments.

At the same time, Vital receives problem after problem from the authorities. The activist bombards officials of various levels with complaints — he even reached Natalya Kochanova, but even there he was "not understood."

Drobushevsky became a bone in the throat for many: he was banned from pro-government Instagram accounts — from the BelExpo account to the Presidential Sports Club. Vital, by the way, tried to achieve through court to be unbanned everywhere.

The man was also expelled from "Patriots of Belarus" — a public association quickly created in 2020 to organize voluntary-compulsory motor rallies in support of Lukashenka. Drobushevsky was one of the first to join the initiative. But even his like-minded people have already disowned him — offended that Drobushevsky called them patriots for money.

For several years now, security forces have been frequent guests at the Stalinist's apartment. His wife could not withstand the pressure — and left Drobushevsky. And he himself had to go work as a taxi driver.
