Nine Belarusians who worked at an underground cigarette production facility were deported from Poland
They were expelled through the Terespol border crossing on October 8.

The Border Guard reports that they worked at an illegal cigarette production facility and are accused of participating in an organized criminal group. All of them were banned from entering Poland and other Schengen countries for seven years, writes Most.
The foreigners worked in one of the warehouses where illegal tobacco products were manufactured. They mainly operated the cigarette production lines. The finished products were then put into circulation without Polish excise stamps.
The investigation into the Belarusians was conducted under the supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Gdansk. They were charged with participation in an organized criminal group. Before their expulsion, the men were held in various correctional facilities. A decision was made for each of them regarding mandatory return and a seven-year ban on entering Poland and other Schengen countries was imposed.
The decisions were subject to immediate execution. Border Guard officers from Gdansk, Gdynia, Władysławowo, and Elbląg transported the Belarusians to the border and handed them over through the Terespol — Brest checkpoint.
