On October 16, 2026, the foundation announced that bail was successfully posted for the sisters and they are already heading home.
In June, it was reported that the Belarusian women's lawyer failed to defend them in court and, without explanation, ceased cooperation with the family. After this, the sisters faced deportation. However, their parents managed to file an appeal in time.
Bysol emphasized that the fight for Polina and Sasha's right to receive political asylum in the USA is not yet over.
