"Western Liberals Brought the Third World to France." Vance Blames Migrants for Riots
US Vice President JD Vance stated that the cause of violence during protests in France was the migration policy of European authorities. He commented on a video of a fire in Limoges City Hall on the social network X.

"Western liberals brought people from third-world countries to France and other countries under the slogans of diversity and compassion. They ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility. They were warned that this would lead to such a situation, but they didn't listen," Vance wrote.
He also used the events in France to criticize American Democrats ahead of the midterm congressional elections, which will be held on November 3.
"I hope Americans are paying attention to this. This is exactly the future Democrats in Congress want for your country," the Vice President stated.
In France, mass protests are taking place against the rising cost of living and problems in the education system. In several cities, there have been clashes with police, arson, and looting of stores. In Limoges, protesters set fire to the 19th-century city hall.
According to French authorities, about 1200 people were detained, and about 150 police officers were injured.
