A bridge over the railway will be built in the Karzhaneuski Street area
It will connect the Kastrychnitski and Maskouski districts of Minsk.
The construction of an overpass in the area of Karzhaneuski Street is planned to begin at the end of December 2026. This was reported to Minsk-Novosti by Sergey Panyov, director of "Gardarbud".
The company is currently working on about 160 projects. Among the large-scale projects is the extension of Churlyonisa Street (the section from Churlyonisa Street to Karzhaneuski Street). This project is related to the reconstruction of part of the streets, including the area around the market near the 11th hospital.
— An overpass will appear over the railway in the area of Karzhaneuski Street, the construction of which we plan to start at the end of December. In terms of significance, it will be similar to the one being built over the railway within the limits of Kalesnikava — Tsіmirazieva Streets, — clarified Sergey Panyov. — Today, the beam placement scheme is not yet finalized, as the object is complex: the structure will be located above Kurasouschchyna Market, and will pass over engineering networks related to water supply and heat supply. Therefore, the beam placement will depend on the position of these communications. The length of the new structure will be approximately 300-350 m, and we are trying to avoid high embankments in the city.
The director of "Gardarbud" explained: when building a road 10-15 m wide with an embankment height of 5-6 m, due to the arrangement of slopes, it is necessary to move back another 10-15 m from the roadway.
Thanks to the extension of Churlyonisa Street and the construction of a bridge over the railway, Karzhaneuski Street will be connected to the Maskouski and Kastrychnitski districts.
