The Kremlin stated that ending the war in Ukraine needs to be discussed with Europe too
Washington has not yet managed to force Ukraine to accept the terms for ending the war, stated Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov.

Yuri Ushakov stated in an interview with Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin that negotiations with Kyiv alone are not enough, and Europe's position could be key.
“It's not enough to talk only with Kyiv; we need to talk with all of Europe, which fully supports Kyiv, and perhaps Europe's position here is key,” he said.
Ushakov was answering a question about whether the American administration could force the Ukrainian leadership to agree to peace terms.
“And previously, after Anchorage, there was an impression that the American administration could dictate something and force Kyiv to comply. But so far, it hasn’t quite worked out,” Putin's aide said.
Ushakov linked this to Europe's continued support for Ukraine.
He also stated that Russia is ready to resume trilateral talks with the U.S. and Ukraine after November 4. He called the first meeting after the break an “exploratory” one, implying that he does not expect quick solutions from it.
Separately, Ushakov announced the preparation of another trilateral meeting — between Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Xi Jinping.
“Now I can confidently say that both Moscow, Beijing, and Washington are, in principle, ready for it to take place, and preparations for it have already begun,” he stated.
