Uladzimir Labkovich, a lawyer for «Viasna» and coordinator of the «Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections» campaign, was detained on July 14, 2021. On March 3, 2023, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison. He was involved in the same case as Ales Bialiatski.
Initially, information appeared that along with Bialiatski and Labkovich, another colleague, a member of the «Viasna» Council, Vice-President of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) Valiantsin Stefanovich, sentenced to 9 years in prison, was also released. But, unfortunately, it was later not confirmed.
