New Year's holidays and heavy snowfalls have paralyzed the waste removal system in Mogilev. Residents of several districts report overflowing containers and mountains of waste, reports "Mogilev.Online".

Residents of the districts complain about overflowing bins. Waste is piled up next to the containers, and its amount sometimes starts to extend beyond the designated areas.
The situation is complicated by the fact that even where access for special equipment is cleared, the garbage remains in place. According to "Mogilev.Online", utility services have encountered an unusual problem: due to sharp temperature fluctuations and snow, the containers are tightly frozen into the ice and cannot be loaded into garbage trucks.

Local residents have seen special commissions at work, documenting the state of the sites with photos, but there has been little real progress so far.
