A Belarusian man wanted by the police was detained at the Wroclaw railway station
Officers of the Operational-Intervention Group of the Wroclaw Railway Guard Service detained a citizen of Belarus who was illegally present on the territory of the European Union. The man was spotted on the railway platform — he was behaving suspiciously and tried to leave when he saw the police officers.

The detainee was taken to the railway police station in Wroclaw. During identity verification, it was found that the 34-year-old Belarusian was entered into the Schengen Information System as a person subject to detention, questioning, and expulsion from the country upon discovery.
It was also established that there is an active decision for his mandatory departure from the territory of Poland based on the relevant European Union regulation, as he is a citizen of a third country. Further procedural actions are being carried out by the Wroclaw police.
