The Ministry of Finance has terminated the license for carrying out insurance activities of the company "Kentavr".
"The decision was made due to the expiration of the deadlines allotted for the insurer to comply with the regulator's requirement to form the minimum amount of the statutory fund as established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus," reports the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
From the moment the license is terminated, the company must transfer its obligations under previously concluded insurance contracts to another insurance organization or terminate the contracts (except for cases where obligations for insurance payments have arisen) and return to policyholders a portion of the insurance premium proportional to the remaining time until the insurance expires. The company must also make insurance payments that arose before the termination of the insurance contracts.
Obligations undertaken by "Kentavr" under insurance contracts will be transferred to BelGosStrakh.
