Lukashenka congratulated the people of Ukraine on Independence Day
He is confident that Belarus and Ukraine will restore mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.

Alexander Lukashenka congratulated the people of Ukraine on the 35th anniversary of Independence Day, his press service reports.
"The historical destinies of the Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples are closely intertwined. Our nations are bound by centuries-old traditions, the memory of common victories and difficult trials," the congratulation states.
Lukashenka expressed confidence that, despite geopolitical upheavals, future generations of Belarusians and Ukrainians will preserve eternal friendly and kinship ties, and Minsk and Kyiv will restore mutually beneficial cooperation based on the principles of trust, respect, and equality, the congratulation states.
Lukashenka wished all citizens of Ukraine health and prosperity, and their country — peace and happiness.
The press service did not add that today marks exactly four and a half years since Russia has been waging a full-scale war against Ukraine.
