Archbishop Kondrusiewicz Returns to Service After a Month of Treatment
The hierarch visited Rakau.
Soon after completing rehabilitation due to heart surgery, Archbishop Emeritus Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz returned to active ministry. The 80-year-old hierarch made his first pastoral visit since his illness to the parish in Rakau, writes katolik.life.
Here, on August 23rd, the 30th anniversary of the parish choir was celebrated. On this occasion, the parish invited the archbishop to lead the celebration in the church. He even joined the choir's singing, as can be seen in the photos published by the parish.
For a month, the honorary hierarch, who often visits parishes in various corners of Belarus despite his age and ailments, was unable to make pastoral visits. He was urgently hospitalized on July 22 after participating in a festival in Hudahaj. Thanks to this, another heart attack was prevented, and vascular stenting was performed.
The faithful prayed for the speedy recovery of the Archbishop Emeritus and continue to ask God for the necessary graces for him.
