«The flight took ten hours instead of five». Footballer Alyaksandr Hleb's family arrived in Istanbul not without adventures
Famous Belarusian footballer Alyaksandr Hleb stayed home, while his blogger wife Sviatlana flew to Turkey for a vacation with their two daughters.
Sviatlana Hleb shared details of their difficult journey to vacation on Instagram. The flight was initially scheduled for 5:15 AM, but a surprise awaited the family at the airport: the departure was delayed by two hours.
Sviatlana learned that there are rest rooms at Minsk airport. She rented one, hoping the children would get some sleep — but they were no longer in the mood for it.
Boarding proceeded according to the new schedule, but the plane eventually took off another four hours later. And the story didn't end there: instead of the five scheduled hours, the plane flew for ten hours — with a refueling stop in Tbilisi.
«These are the times», — the blogger philosophically notes. She expressed her gratitude to «Belavia»: «The flight was perfect and the service — although the plane feels like it's not new».
The footballer's family was supposed to land in Turkey at 11 AM, but they actually arrived around 7 PM.
