Metro train schedule to change on public holidays

The Minsk Metro announced how the subway will operate on these days.

On December 25, 26, 27, 28 and January 1, the metropolitan subway will operate according to the weekend schedule, and on December 31 — according to the Friday schedule;

On the night of December 31 to January 1, passengers will be able to use the metro until 4:00 AM. Stations "Niamiha", "Kastrychnitskaya" and "Kupalaŭskaya" (exit to Independence Avenue) will close for entry at 4:15 AM.

The interval for trains from 00:00 to 4:00 on January 1 on the 1st and 2nd lines will be 6 minutes, and on the 3rd line — 8.5 minutes. On January 1, the metro will open at 5:30 AM, and the interval on the 2nd line from 18:00 to 24:00 will be 4 minutes.

Due to the large passenger flow, it is better to purchase tokens and travel tickets in advance.
