The pro-Kremlin Telegram channel Shot spread information about alleged airstrikes on the central hospital in Kupyansk, where, according to their reports, «mercenaries» and AFU servicemen were hiding.
The report claimed that some of the «mercenaries», whom the AFU command allegedly abandoned in a hot spot in Kupyansk, tried to take refuge in the hospital, where the building was practically destroyed, and «dozens inside were killed».
However, Z-military correspondent Romanov refuted these claims, calling Shot propagandists «unprincipled lying scoundrels». He stated that encircled Russian servicemen were hiding in the hospital: the building had indeed been under shelling for the last week, but the strikes were aimed at them, not at the «mercenaries».

Another Z-channel, «Pioner Zapasa», also reported massive airstrikes on neighboring buildings and the central hospital over the past week and promised to show relevant videos. Previously, photos of encircled Russian servicemen in Kupyansk were published on this channel.

The channel noted that they are still encircled but holding on, although later they reported losing contact with them.
