Fire breaks out in a dormitory in Smarhon

On January 9, the emergency notification system "Malanka" reported the activation of fire alarms in a dormitory on Sinkevich Street in Smarhon.

Upon arrival, rescuers observed plumes of smoke coming from the windows of a block on the second floor. Two people, including a 4-year-old child, were evacuated from the dangerous zone with the help of breathing masks. From the upper floors, 78 people were evacuated, including 14 children.

10 units of MES equipment worked on site. No one was injured as a result, and the fire was extinguished.
