In the Smalyavichy district, a driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a truck

On February 8, around 23:15, a road accident occurred on the M-1 highway in the Smalyavichy district.

A 23-year-old resident of the Dzyarzhynsk district was driving a Mercedes-Benz while fatigued and, presumably, fell asleep at the wheel.

He collided with a truck that was moving ahead.

As a result of the accident, the 43-year-old and 36-year-old passengers of the Mercedes-Benz car were hospitalized.
