Andrey Kulikov is 31 years old. He is from Homel. In 2014, he graduated from a local technical college, where he received a diploma in "Software for Information Technologies".
The man started working in the IT sphere back in 2009: first as a freelancer, and then in the Homel company ItSupportMe, where he grew to be a tech lead.
For the last seven years, Andrey worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at the Lithuanian company Altabel Group. The company develops cloud, mobile, and web applications, and also implements solutions using artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. It works with clients in the EU, USA, and UK.
Outside of work, Andrey was actively interested in trading and investments, thinking about where best to invest money to earn. He also loves cars and is subscribed to thematic communities.
The Homel Regional Court sentenced Andrey under parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of Belarus — "facilitating extremist activity". He was sentenced to a term of restricted freedom with referral (often called 'chemistry' in Belarus) or a penal colony. Andrey's persecution is likely related to the Gayun case.
