According to drivers, a message from the Ministry of Internal Affairs can now arrive on their phones not only about fines for speeding or overdue vehicle inspection, but also a warning about other types of violations captured by photo enforcement cameras, writes telegraf.news.
A Bobruisk motorist shared a screenshot of the message from the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Threads. According to her, this was her first warning that «flew in» to her mobile from photo enforcement cameras. As the girl explained, after the SMS, she also received a call from a traffic police officer who explained the situation.
«An officer called and offered to meet. Be careful, buckle up and don't talk on the phone, photo enforcement also applies to this,» the motorist shared her not-so-pleasant experience.

The message the girl received
Judging by the message, the official warning issued to the girl was not for an unbuckled seat belt, as she mentioned in her post, but for talking on the phone while driving. This particular violation is covered by paragraph 5 of Article 18.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO), specified in the SMS.
By the way, the maximum penalty under this article for a driver's violation of the rules for using radio and telephone communication while driving is a fine of up to 2 base values (i.e., up to 90 rubles), so in this case, the motorist got off with the minimum penalty.
According to one of the commentators, he also received a call from the traffic police and was given a verbal warning for using a mobile phone while driving. As the commentator suggested, the violation was also tracked by road cameras.
