In the agro-town Kvasoŭka, not far from Grodno, the traditional weaving of the Grodno region is being revived. A full-fledged weaving workshop is being established in the local culture center, where work will be done using ancient folk technologies. The main equipment was purchased thanks to a presidential grant received by Grodno tapestry master Alena Shuneika. The grant is aimed at implementing the project "From Yarn to Weaving" — its goal is to preserve and revive traditional methods of hand weaving, reports TV and Radio Company "Grodno".
