On February 28, six planets — Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, and Uranus — will line up on one side of the Sun and will be visible in the evening sky shortly after sunset. The Moon will join them.
The observation window is about an hour after sunset. Later, the planets will disappear below the horizon.
It is best to choose a location with a clear western horizon, free of tall buildings and trees, preferably outside the city. The phenomenon will also be clearly visible in the first days of March.
Key point: several planets can be seen with the naked eye and also photographed with a regular smartphone.
