On March 1, classes at the clinic for March 2 were canceled.
«Due to the current situation and to ensure the safety of our children and their families, we are canceling tomorrow's appointments as a precautionary measure,» Aliaksandra was informed.
They are asked not to panic and are promised new appointment dates will be communicated once the situation stabilizes.
«Today, Vanyukha was very agitated when he heard the rumbling for the first time, it happened several times. The sound resembled fireworks. Then he started catching me, asking why I was collecting everything and why I was doing it. But we redirected our anxious thoughts to other matters. Everything is fine and calm with us,» Aliaksandra wrote on March 1.
The day before, the family had packed an "emergency" suitcase.
The boy became known throughout the country in November 2025, when a scandal erupted around the detention of two bloggers from Hrodna — 17-year-old Mikhail Drahun and his 37-year-old girlfriend Yauhenia Tarasenka. They conducted raffles with expensive prizes and promised to transfer part of the collected funds for Vanya's treatment.
Participants were offered to buy a number to participate in a supposedly charitable lottery, promising smartphones or even cars. However, out of approximately one and a half million rubles, it is claimed that only a portion of the sum was transferred to the family, while significant funds went to prizes and the bloggers' personal expenses.
After his release on his own recognizance, Mikhail Drahun stated that he did not consider himself guilty, explaining that he had initially spoken only of transferring a portion of the collected money. The trial in this criminal case is still ahead, and the accused could face up to 12 years in prison.
Despite the scandal, the fundraising for Vanya's treatment was closed, and the boy has now received the necessary medication.
