A fundraiser for Vanya Stetsenko was closed with funds from the seized funds of Grodno bloggers.
The Investigative Committee reported that the amount of money needed for the child's treatment will be allocated for his benefit from the seized funds of the suspects.

The money was being raised for eight-year-old Vanya Stetsenko, who has a severe genetic disease — Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The injection the boy needs costs $2.9 million.
On November 4, it became known that two Hrodna bloggers, 37-year-old Eugenia Tarasenko and 17-year-old Mikhail Dragun, were detained on suspicion of large-scale fraud. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they were collecting money by holding prize draws with paid participation — for 10 rubles. The bloggers claimed that almost the entire amount would go to the child's treatment. But out of the 1.5 million rubles collected, only about 200,000 were given to the child's mother.
On November 7, both bloggers were released on their own recognizance.
A criminal case was opened against Tarasenko and Dragun under the article "fraud on a particularly large scale." They face up to 12 years in prison. Currently, the investigation of the criminal case, as reported by the Investigative Committee, is ongoing, and the final legal assessment of the bloggers' actions will be given based on the results of the investigation.
