At the opening of the 42nd city polyclinic in Minsk, Alexander Lukashenka addressed the issue of a shortage of workers in the country.
«Let's stop whining and crying that we don't have enough people. I want everything in Belarus to be beautiful and high-quality. We have enough people. We need to build a system so that the people we have can work, earn, and serve the population,» Lukashenka said.
«This applies to the Ministry of Health by more than 200 percent. Doctors are like the president: they work as much as needed,» he added.
Apparently, with these words, Lukashenka wanted to say that medical professionals should work more, as he himself likes to repeat that he works without vacations. However, since the beginning of the week, according to reports from his press service and his public appearances, today is only Lukashenka's third working day. On Monday, he received a Russian governor; on Wednesday, he held a meeting with military personnel. Tuesday and Thursday were dedicated to hockey.
