Alexander Lukashenka and Kim Jong Un signed an agreement on friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, reports Pool of the First.
«We oppose illegal pressure on Belarus from the West and express support and understanding for the measures of the Belarusian leadership aimed at socio-political stability and economic development,» Kim Jong Un stressed.
The DPRK leader noted that both countries strive to build a multipolar world based on the principles of independence and justice, and adhere to a similar position on many issues on the international agenda.
«I believe that this serves as a prerequisite for the possibility of further expansion and development of bilateral relations in accordance with the mutual interests of the two countries,» he said.
«We express solidarity and full support for Belarus, which seeks to pursue an independent policy corresponding to its reality, to achieve peace and development, while continuing to develop relations with traditionally friendly countries,» Kim Jong Un emphasized.
