Mother and son died in a fire in Braslav region

The tragedy occurred on the night of April 5 in the village of Kalenkishki, Braslav district.

The report of a residential house fire was received by rescuers at 2:44 AM. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, the house and an adjacent outbuilding were completely engulfed in flames.

During the fire extinguishing and structural dismantling, rescuers found the bodies of two deceased persons.

The victims of the fire were the 74-year-old owner and her 40-year-old son. The causes of the fire are not yet known.
