Iran States That Several American Aircraft Were Destroyed During Pilot Rescue Mission
Several aircraft were destroyed in the south of Isfahan province during an American mission to search for a downed pilot, Iranian military reported on Sunday, Reuters writes.

Today, Trump announced that the second pilot, whose F-15 was shot down in Iran on Friday, was rescued. However, Iran announced the failure of the US mission.
A representative of Iran's Joint Armed Forces Command stated that two C-130 military transport aircraft and two US Army Black Hawk helicopters were destroyed by the Iranians.
In other statements, the Iranian army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also reported that an Israeli Hermes-900 drone, as well as an American MQ-9 drone, were shot down in Isfahan province.
Other sources report that the US, after evacuating the pilot, itself destroyed two HC-130J Combat King II search-and-rescue aircraft which could not leave Iran for an unknown reason. The aircraft were blown up on the ground to prevent their capture by Iranian forces.
