In the bank, one out of 130 banknotes seemed suspicious — the police were called
A routine visit to the bank for currency exchange turned into an incident involving a police call. A 37-year-old man in Mogilev brought a significant sum — $12,670 — to the teller.

State Forensic Examination Committee
According to Iryna Rachkouskaya, the official representative of the Mogilev Region Department of the State Forensic Examination Committee, he intended to exchange 124 banknotes of $100 denomination, five $50 banknotes, and one "twenty."
— However, during the verification, the teller became suspicious of the authenticity of one of the $100 banknotes, a 2006 series. Following protocol, the bank employee pressed the alarm button. Consequently, all the cash was confiscated and sent for examination to the State Forensic Examination Committee, — stated Iryna Rachkouskaya.
Fortunately for the Mogilev resident, the examination confirmed that all the banknotes — both the "suspicious" one and the other 129 notes — were genuine: the currency was issued by the official producer of US dollars.
