During today's briefing, the Ukrainian president spoke about "signals" from partners regarding strikes on the Russian oil sector: "After such a global energy crisis, we have indeed received signals from some of our partners about how to reduce our responses in the oil sector, the energy sector of the Russian Federation."
Zelenskyy did not specify which "partners" he was referring to. And added: "I emphasize once again — if Russia is ready not to strike Ukrainian energy infrastructure, we will not retaliate against their energy infrastructure."
The President also stated that Ukraine is "ready for a ceasefire for the Easter holidays": "In my opinion, honestly, normal people who respect life talk about a ceasefire and ending the war forever, not for a few days. But, of course, we are ready for any compromises."
In recent weeks, Ukraine has repeatedly struck several Russian terminals used for oil exports, including in the Leningrad region.
