A month after the assassination of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, his son and successor, Mojtaba Khamenei, addressed the population with a new written message.

In it, the country's new Supreme Leader thanked Iranians for their support in the war against the US and Israel, state media reported on March 30.
Since his appointment, Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared in public and has made only a few written statements. This fact raises speculation about his health and whereabouts.
According to state television reports, Khamenei is recovering from the aftermath of the February 28 airstrike that killed his father.
