Pediatric resuscitator and BSMU lecturer Aleksey Kulagin passed away
The Ministry of Health announced the death of Aleksey Yevgenyevich Kulagin, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor. He headed the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the Belarusian State Medical University. He was 70 years old.

Aleksey Kulagin made a significant contribution to the development of national medicine. Thanks to his work, new methods of anesthesia in children were widely introduced into clinical practice, the ministry reports. The scientist's main research was devoted to improving the quality of anesthesiological care and intensive therapy for purulent-septic conditions in children.
In addition to scientific and teaching work with students, Aleksey Yevgenyevich actively participated in the treatment of patients: annually he examined up to 2,000 children in intensive care and resuscitation departments throughout the country.
