The IRGC did not specify the exact location of the base. The Kuwaiti army stated on Thursday that its air defense systems were working to intercept missiles and drones, writes the BBC.
Iranian military officials warned that any repetition of what they called aggression would provoke a "more decisive" response. They stated that responsibility for the consequences lies with the "aggressor."
The US launched new strikes on Iran
Overnight, US forces launched new strikes on Iran, hitting a military site and shooting down four Iranian kamikaze attack drones in the Strait of Hormuz area, Reuters reported, citing a US official.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the target of the strike was an Iranian ground control station in Bandar Abbas, where preparations were underway to launch a fifth drone.
"These actions were calibrated, purely defensive, and aimed at preserving the ceasefire regime," the official stated.
