The son, upon returning home, found his deceased father in the toilet room.

Before the tragedy, the man was trying to independently find out the cause of a pipe leak in the toilet room.
While inspecting the pipes, the man lost his balance and fell headfirst into a plumbing niche located behind the toilet, where the communication panel is situated.
As a result of the fall, the man was trapped and could not get out on his own, reports the State Committee of Forensic Examinations.
According to the results of the forensic medical examination, it was established that the man's death occurred due to mechanical asphyxia.
This condition arose as a result of the prolonged stay of the body in a forced posture (vertical position of the body head down), which led to restricted respiratory movements due to pressure from the internal organs of the abdominal cavity on the diaphragm, as well as complications in venous blood outflow from the head and upper part of the torso.
