Belarus is filming its own series about 'patsany' (lads/young guys)
"Belarusfilm" has started working on a new series, the action of which will unfold in the early 1990s. The director is Kiryl Khaletski, who previously directed the films "Classy," "Cultural Code," and "Filmmakers."

The events unfold in the early 1990s and focus on teenagers and their coming of age. The genre is a thriller with elements of a detective story, writes sb.by.
Plot details are still kept secret. However, it is known that at the center is the story of two boys who find something unusual. This discovery triggers a chain of events and adventures.
At the same time, the film will also feature adult characters — people who "are in a stupor and do not understand how to live further."
The project will be a multi-series one: four episodes of 44 minutes are planned. Later, the material will be re-edited into a feature film.
Casting will continue until the end of April.
According to the director, they are primarily looking for the main characters — teenagers around 12 years old. Next, they will select adult actors aged 30-35 and older.
Filming starts in August and will continue until October. The premiere is expected no earlier than autumn 2027.
