A man was declared missing, his children received a pension. And then he was found
A resident of the Orsha district for a long time did not pay alimony for his three minor children. A criminal case was even opened against him for evading child support. During the investigation, the man left Belarus, and for a long time nothing was known about him, reports the Prosecutor's Office of Vitebsk region.

Several years later, taking into account the man's disappearance, the court in 2019 declared him missing. After this decision, the children began to receive a survivor's pension. These payments continued for more than six years and amounted to about 77 thousand rubles.
Later, the man returned to Belarus, and the court decision declaring him missing was overturned.
Next, the prosecutor applied to the court with a demand to recover from the father the money that the state had paid to the children instead of his alimony. The court fully satisfied this claim.
As a result, the man is obliged to return almost 77 thousand rubles, and the decision has already entered into legal force.
