Doctors fought for Oleksandr Perha's life for 24 hours, but could not save him.

He became the seventh victim of the shooter who committed the terrorist attack on April 18.

Oleksandr encouraged planting fruit trees in courtyards so they would delight with blossoms and fruits. Now, trees will be planted in his honor.
On Saturday, April 18, a man with a carbine in his hands went out onto the street in the Holosiivskyi district near the center of Kyiv and started shooting, then burst into a supermarket where he took hostages. A total of seven people died, including a married couple who were walking with their teenage son. Uncle Sasha shielded 12-year-old Artsiom, but himself fell under the bullets of the Holosiivskyi shooter. He sustained severe injuries to his liver, intestines, and stomach.
The terrorist was shot dead.
