The memorial plane from Minsk's Styapyanka returned to its place after reconstruction

This fighter-bomber has stood there for over 40 years. Initially, it was placed in honor of Soviet pilots, but due to the main street of the microdistrict being named after the first Hero of Belarus, pilot Uladzimir Karvat, its tail number was changed to "29". This was the same number as the plane on which Karvat performed his feat in 1996, sacrificing his life to save people.
The authorities also plan to improve the area around the monument to make this place more comfortable and attractive for residents and guests.
