Trump declared "full control" over the Strait of Hormuz and spoke about chaos in Iran's leadership
US President Donald Trump stated on his social network Truth Social that the US has allegedly established "full control" over the Strait of Hormuz and will keep it closed until Iran agrees to a specific deal.

Trump also claims he ordered US naval forces "to open fire and destroy any vessels — even small boats — if they lay mines in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz." Additionally, according to him, American minesweepers are actively working to clear the area of mines.
"There should be no hesitation," the US President stated. "Our minesweepers are currently clearing the strait. I order these actions to continue, but threefold!"
He also noted that all 159 Iranian warships are, allegedly, "already lying at the bottom of the sea."
In a subsequent post, Trump also informed the American and global public that an internal power struggle is allegedly underway in Iran between various political groups, which, according to him, creates instability in the country's leadership.
"It is very difficult for Iran to understand who their leader is right now! They just don't know! Internal disagreements are ongoing between the "hawks," who are losing very badly on the battlefield, and the "moderates," who are not so moderate at all (but are gaining respect!)", — explains the US President, describing the situation in the enemy's camp as "true chaos."
